Kailyn Hanlon Jackson is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Elegant Brief, a publication devoted to the intersection of law, fashion, etiquette, and cultivated living. An LL.B. candidate and Specialized Honours B.A. graduate and Dean’s Scholar, she brings an interdisciplinary perspective informed by her studies in Medical Anthropology & Criminology, alongside her emerging legal career.

With a particular appreciation for timeless elegance, intellectual refinement, and the art of considered living, Kailyn established The Elegant Brief as a space for thoughtful discourse on the ways in which law, personal presentation, etiquette, and culture may converge with sophistication and purpose.

Charlene is a Toronto, Canada / London, UK-based journalist. A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University Journalism & Criminology, her reporting focuses on human rights, international law, fashion and lifestyle. Inspired by her upbringing in a military family, Charlene quickly learned the importance of understanding and appreciation for different life experiences, which fuel her dedication to honesty and balanced reporting.

Find her at runways around the world or with a microphone in hand outside a court room, sometimes in the same day! In her spare time, Charlene can be found at home baking, visiting beauty pop ups and exclusive events or relaxing by the ocean in her home province of Newfoundland!
