The Inspiration:
My great-grandmother Elmira was the inspiration for this scent. Elmira was a German-Jamaican, which German is the smallest and rarest ethnic group on the island of Jamaica. Being German-Jamaican made her rare, foreign, and yet unique. In addition, my great-grandmother Elmira was a part of Jamaica's high society. She came from a wealthy, well-off, and well-respected family that owned a massive estate on the West end of Jamaica. The West end of Jamaica, prominently in the countryside, has various plant and fruit species such as roses, grapefruit, vanilla, and hibiscus (the national flower of Jamaica). Hence, this fragrance leaves you smelling feminine, unique, floral, timeless, and like old money!
